Antarctica, the elusive white continent that so few of us will ever get to visit.

When you think of Antarctica, you think flat white sheets, but it turns out the continent has the highest average elevation in the world. The highest point on the continent is Vinson Massif 4897 m (about 16 066 feet) and the lowest point yet found is the Bentley Subglacial Trench (2499 m/8200 ft below sea level) in West Antarctica.

If you want to see this beautiful continent for yourself, then your opportunity is just around the corner. Departing in January next year, Ingrid is taking a small and exclusive group with Tauck tours. For more information, please contact the office or call in to see Ingrid at New Farm Travel.
